ABOUT US

We are the Black medical students, residents, fellows, and staff physicians of British Columbia. We are a self made and newly established group with the following mission:

​

1. Provide mentorship to current and prospective Black medical students.

​

2. Advocate for systemic changes at the UBC Faculty of Medicine to improve equity and combat institutionalized racism in the faculty

​

3. Advocate for improving the quality of healthcare provided to Black patients in British Columbia

​

4. Provide a community of support for Black physicians & trainees in British Columbia
